Lee Legal lead attorney Brian V. Lee has lived in the DC metro area for nearly 30 years and has provided legal services to the community since 2004. His areas of focus include debt defense, foreclosure prevention, and bankruptcy representation for individuals and corporations throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Brian is as passionate about the law as he is about helping his clients free themselves from financial distress.

Before forming Lee Legal, Brian worked with the Special Litigation Section in the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice. He also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Federal Court of Claims. 

His court admissions include the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Virginia and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts of the District of Maryland, Eastern District of Virginia and District of Columbia.

Brian is an active member of multiple organizations including the American Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees. He received his B.A. in English from Rutgers University in New Jersey and his J.D. from the Antonin Scalia Law School of George Mason University.
